Based on a table by an unknown maker (circa 1805) from the Winterthur collection, I was inspired to have a go at this after seeing Steve Latta's take on it. The walnut crotch veneer was leftover from a job at a cabinet shop where I worked at the time (I was veneering panels for a private library, and asked to have a few of the cutoffs). The top is quartersawn walnut. Inlay and stringing are holly. I used walnut burl veneer for the kneehole arch.
